W.E.B. Du Bois Scholarship

Up to $1,200

Are you the next Du Bois Scholar? The Talented Tenth! The BSCU continues to work on increasing access and exposure to transformative opportunities for our students (7-12), like the Du Bois Scholars Institute the W.E.B. Du Bois Scholars Institute is an intensive academic and leadership program for high-achieving middle and high school students.

The Gates Scholarship

Up to $1,200

A high school senior, From at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American, Pell-eligible, A US citizen, national or permanent resident & a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale

The BSCU Scholarship

$500 - $1,000

 2.75+ total/overall/cumulative GPA after 7 semesters (must include 1 term of senior

    grades)
 College bound Black high school seniors who are members of BSCU

 Must attend the 2019 BSCU Leadership Conference

 High School Diploma

 Must attend college/university full-time by Fall 2018

Redfin Scholarship

$2,500

This $2,500 scholarship is a way for Redfin to help one student on his or her journey through higher education. The scholarship application period will occur twice yearly with awards delegated in both the Spring and Fall. The Spring application period is from November 1-January 31 of each year. The Fall application period is from May 1-July 31 of each year. 

Eligibility:

 Legal U.S. resident
 Eighteen years of age or older

 Graduating high school senior or current freshman, sophomore, or junior in college

    attending an accredited university or college

 Cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale

JobRedi Foundation Grant for SJC seniors

Varies

• You would like to enroll in an approved certificate program (not an AA/AS Degree) and go to work upon earning your certificate
• You have demonstrated perseverance in overcoming adversity (Familial Relationship, Physical, Emotional, and/or Economic Challenges)
• You have graduated from high school
• You currently live in San Joaquin or Stanislaus Counties
• You have financial need
• Must be 35 years of age or younger
